how to operate Regina Hexaphon console model

Hi ... how does one open the glass front case of a Regina Hexaphone console model and how do you lock the mechanism to safely move one?

To open the top, if this is one with a wood lattice grill across the horn, first open the drop down cover on the front with the key, then push up on the little lever you can see on through the glass and lift the cover.
