1927 Columbia Viva Tonal Model 700.Need new Turntable Velvet

Post by Victrolaman »

Im in the process of restoring a 1927 Columbia Viva Tonal Model 700 machine. I just finished the motor and its ready to go but the Turntable green velvet is all gone for the most part full of holes and moth damage
Anyone know what i can find that? i see all the time the Victor stuff but i never see the Green velvet columbia stuff.
I was going to look at a fabric store but thought id check here. What is the original color is it a light or darker avacado green color? i didnt know if mine fadded or that was the original color. Thanks for the help

I just bought some from George Vollema for my 1911 Grafonola. The color matched perfectly. Perhaps you will find the right color at his website. Scroll down to see the felt colors.
