Don't bother, I have a stack of them I use to weigh down veneer while the glue is drying. You can HAVE them.
I would never purposely destroy one......then again, I pretty much hate it. Just proves people were tasteless back then too.

I never said I destroyed them, otherwise I'd put them out on the curb, or maybe paint furniture with them.

You gotta love that phonograph in the Spike Jones pic... flexible horn elbow and all.

I think we have had enough negitive posts about Hawaiian music. If you do not like it then do not listen to it. If you have discs give them to a Good Will or Salvation Army store. To suggest that you would destroy or harm them is WRONG! These are musical presentations from long dead artists.I would think that this music for the most part has not been transfered to tape or disk. You could have an only copy. I have a disc 51202-L Hula Hula Rose by the Waikiki Hawaiian Orchestra that is very nice and I listen to often. Perhaps with posts on this or any other subject we should remember what most of our Mothers told us - If you do not have something nice to say then don't! .

Oh dear, and here's me been looking for a copy of Roy Smeck doing "My Little Grass Shack in Kealalakua, Hawaii" on the "Rex" label for years! Purely for nostalgic reasons, you understand?

Just the other day, I came across a lovely late Victor acoustic of some Hawaiian tune. So clean like it had never been played, could almost see my face in it.

Still, I couldn't bring myself to cough up the 19 cents (plus tax) that the place was asking for it. :(
