I was playing one of my records when I heard a snap in my phonograph and it slowed to a stop. Since it occasionally makes sounds and thought it had just wound down, I tried cranking it, but when I didn't hear the motor begin to turn I realized what had happened. While I am bummed out, Im not suprised, since it served 98 years and may not have been properly cared for for a while. I know springs can can be repaired or replaced, but I am not going to try to do it myself, I'd just make it worse. Is there anyone on here who would be willing to repair it for me, and if so could you give me an estimate? Thanks so much.
Regards
Colin
