How to restore Victor wax finishes

Post by m0xiemama »

Since it seems the consensus is that my XI is gun metal, though it doesn't look much like it on the outside, I was wondering if anyway had tips for getting the finish back. The outside is in great shape but does not seem to have the grey tones the inside has. I googled "gunmetal finish" but found nothing so is it exclusive to Victor? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You may want to buy the latest copy of "Look For The Dog". The book will not only show you (in color) all of Victors finishes. Also, in the back of the book is a section on how to restore the different finishes written by Victor for their dealers to use.
