Col BY with spruce horn & matching base cabinet $7500 - Look

Post by Jerry B. »

I am selling a very nice Columbia BY with a Music Master spruce horn and matching base cabinet. The BY was Columbias answer to the Vic VI. The machine and horn have original finish and look great. The base cabinet has been refinished and, in my opinion, should be refinished to match the machine. (I am available for that project) The reproducer has new gaskets. The tone arm has the volume control feature. The motor runs quietly. Please email [email protected] or call 541-990-0781 (Pacific Time Zone) with any questions. I am happy to hold it for pickup, deliver to Union, or ship at your expense. The price is $7500. Thanks, Jerry Blais

I got to see this beauty at the APS show in southern California recently and it is a stunner. If I didn't have a Victor 6 with spruce horn and matching cabinet in my living room right now, that BY would have come home with me over a week ago...... With a little TLC it's going to be spectacular. And vastly rarer than the Victor.

Some lucky buyer is going to have a real treasure.

When I saw this in the APS pictures I loved it. Now, I know what it is and how much I have to save for it. :) I can add it to my short list.
