Another recent transfer: "Continental Tango" by Marek Weber

I got these for free (inter alia) from one of our building's doormen, cleaning out his basement -- stuff left by a previous owner.

Ca. late '40s, rather enjoyable stuff and arrangements. If you like music from '30s-40s movies (at least that which isn't swing), you will probably like it.

This was one of the earliest Columbia 10" Lp issues, but this is from the 78 rpm album. Most of the sides are without issues, although the first few seconds of the very first side has an incipient half-moon lam flake, which thumps and clicks a bit.
