Slightly O/T - His master's a nipper!

Post by Roaring20s »

I was in a local antique mall and asked if I could snap these photos for the forum. I have seen humorous postcards like these, but not a real product playing on His Master's Voice and Nipper. Very Interesting. I guess it doesn't take a bloodhound to pick-up this scent!

The lettering is more golden. The light was from behind on this shot.

Anybody have an idea as to its age?
Did Victor get legal on them?

My thanks to the American Antique Mall in Tucson, AZ for indulging me.
James.

This rummy has confused a horn with the mouth piece of a phone.
The artist must have seen a phonograph once, not remembering its construction he winged it.

Great find, James. Was just in Tucson and passed that antique store. Unfortunately I didn't have the time to stop and shop.
