need replacement parts for edison home B

Post by kirtley2012 »

A edison home that arrived in the post today arrived badly packaged and quite badly damaged!, part of the bed plate was broken, the hinged wooden part that holds the bed plate was completely torn to splinters and the arm for the govenor that links the friction pads to the screw was snapped.

I now need to replace those parts, so i need that wooden part and a new friction pad assembly, also i bought it as a restoration project so i will need a lift lever with the washer a winding handle and a belt!

I dont have any money yet so i will need to wait for the money to compensate for the damage to come through before i can pay for anything

I would think that the shipper would be responsible if it was well packed and the seller would be responsible if it was poorly packed. Do your have recourse with either? Jerry

Does anyone have these parts?
Im really quite pi***d because i have not yet been able to get any money so with a $250 repair cost and $360 total for the phonograph i will have spent $610 on a very average edison home B so as you can probably tell i am very unhappy because it took me it is 7 months saving down the drain

Hi Alex,
I just bought some parts from [email protected] The fellows name is Mark. I know he has the oak Motor board you need for your model B Home and probably has the rest. Drop him an email and he can give you a price quote.
