My Amberola III is serial number 508 in mahogany and it has a black horn. The grille is not original to it, so I can't comment on whether it originally had grille cloth or not.
Collecting moss, radios and phonos in the mountains of WNC.

Thanks for the post, Chuck. I've never seen a III with a black horn - - it's good to know at least one is out there.
