Yes, it is very well made, but new none the less. Reproducer looks original though.
Regarding Indian metalwork; I bought a Roman Helmet last year as a school teaching prop for Roman theme month.
It cost about $65 delivered, from India, and the workmanship is very very good.

Here is your chance to be the first to own one of these. The horn appears similar to a modified lamp shade.
I lived in Calcutta for several years when I worked for the State Dept. I spent alot of time rumaging around the old bazzars and markets and watched some of these craftsmen do wonders with copper and brass, mostly with the crudest of tools.
