Thorens Camera Phonograph

Post by Mr. Tall »

Hi everyone,

I came across this in the Denver Craigslist antiques section today. Thought someone here might be interested. I had never seen something like this before, it's really cool, but out of my price range.

They're neat machines. I have a blue one that is fun to play now and then. The seller's price is a little high though, especially with the missing paint. I paid about $200 including postage for mine on eBay some years ago in perfect shape and the original instructions. Just putting things into perspective.

The blue, green and red ones seem to be the most desirable by collectors, in no particular order. There were also carrying cases made for them that bring a premium price.
