Reproducer has SOLD but Carton Still Available - Look!

Post by Jerry B. »

I am selling a very nice gold Victrola 2 reproducer and a great carton for a nickel Victrola 2. I rebuilt the reproducer with a new diaphragm, gaskets, and a new tension spring. I played it and it sounds terrific. The price is $60 plus postage for the reproducer and $15 for the carton and goes to the first person to say "SOLD". Please email [email protected] with and questions or interest. Thanks, Jerry Blais

Just be aware that the carton is for a nickel No2. The gold No2 cartons came with gold lettering, not silver.

Thanks for pointing that out. I would sell the box separate from the reproducer. How about $60 for the reproducer and $15 for the carton? Jerry

I'm guessing the V2NB on the lid means Victrola 2 Nickle Bright

I always assumed it meant "nickel body" or "gold body" for the "V2GB".

On my gold box, I have V2GA.

There is another example here.

That makes sense. I wonder if this is stated in Victor period cats.???. Was there different "gold" finishes on a #2???. Not that I have seen.
If there is only one type of finish..... then why the "GB" or "GA"??. Last,is there a "NA" marked box?. Does a member have one to show?.
