Came across this oxidized tone arm part and wonder what machine this might be for?

It's certainly from a machine where the reproducer turns for vertical/lateral records

It's part of a Kent adapter to play vertical cut records on the Edison. The pot metal swivel that fits into the horn is gone.

Thanks. Wish I had the pot metal elbow. It would look good on my Edison W 250 as it has the oxidized finish. Thanks, Jan

You could get a Kent adapter- the nickle or gold finished ones are common- and switch out the arms & give the pot metal a coat of antiquing paint. They came with a special Kent soundbox, but are made to fit an Exhibition or anything with the same bayonet fitting.
