Does anyone know where this lot came from? Was it a shop?

...looks like someone was using eBay as an international Craigslist. I hope it worked for them. Lots of excellent pieces in that collection!

Appears the bidding got up to £18,000 (~$29,000) before the auction was canceled by the seller.

Re: Amazing UK "collection" on eBay
I guess I have no appreciation for the value of those jukeboxes. I saw only a couple of other high-value items, such as an HMV Lumiere, and an HMV with spear point horn. There were a couple of good radios like the round bakelite Ecco. Did anyone notice the communications radio with the brightly colored knobs? That came from a WW2 British heavy bomber, a Lancaster, I think. Most were scrapped. A friend of mine has one that looks new.

The Garrard 301 is worth at least $1000.
