Edison Gem

Post by Dave D »

I just found an Edison Gem with a banner lid. It is serial number G145780. Is the banner lid correct for this? I need a piece of lid molding, too if anyone has a junker lid. The piece on need is on the right side, the small piece at the back. Thanks!

A Gem lid with a banner label spanned the later Gem A's to the early B's. Any Gem with a key will not have a slot in the lid while every crank wound Gem will have a slot in the lid for the crank. I hope this helps. Jerry

So, this is probably the right lid for this machine. Good to know.
Thanks for the reply. Anybody got the molding for me?
