Re: Pathé
I offered the full price plus shipping. He said that he promised two people that they could look at it and that he would get back to me after they see it.

Re: Pathé
Well the Pathé now resides in my collection. Really nice piece - only minor problem is does not make it to the end of the record, close but about ½" from the outer edge. Other than that its nice and quiet. The records (center start) all sound good. Spring will be on its way to George V. Records are 11 ⅛ inch.

Re: Pathé
Thanks. After further inspection it has 6 center start records with it in original jackets which are affixed inside the lid - 5 of the 6 are smaller. I chose the largest when I got it home. It plays through the other five with no problem as it did when I was checkng it out. Problem solved..

Re: Pathé
Congratulations!
That's a fine looking Pathé you picked up. Those early French machines were very classy indeed, and I'm sure the machine will give you much enjoyment.
Perhaps at some stage you could do a "featured phonograph" thread on it, though I don't know what number we're up to in the featured phonographs??
It's always interesting to get a close-up look at machines you dont see everyday!
