Old Cabinet Card with Graphophone
Can you identify the graphophone on this cabinet card? Is it a Columbia Type BQ?

I'm not sure, but I do recall coming across the full image (including the person seated to the right) recently online, but cannot find it now. I do recall that the caption on the site referred to it as an Edison. I thought "that isn't any Edison, and I wish it wasn't partly obscured by that thing on the table!"

It's hard to tell from that photo because the telltale signs are hidden from view. But it could be a model BO. Note the top-mount carriage which limits it to a model BO or BQ. The BO was fancier with a longer mandrel to play the 6 inch records (also a 3-spring versus 2-spring motor) and a cabinet with rounded corners and oval depressions milled into the sides. The color photo you have looks more like a BKT with the side-mount carriage.
