Refinished mahogany or walnut?

Post by MTPhono »

Can any of you figure out what type of wood this is? I am guessing either refinished mahogany or possibly walnut. It appears from the inside of the cabinet picture that this has been partially stripped.

Thanks,
Scott

Hi Scott:

It looks like Walnut to me. I like how you have the 33 ⅓ RPM record sitting on the turntable. How does it sound with the steel needle?

Alright wiseguy! I think I would know a little something about record player compatibility. This is from a CL listing:

Steve - this should answer your question as well. BELIEVE me, if it was what you were thinking it was, I would have been in my car driving all day to get it. Not so lucky this time.

Thanks for looking,
Scott

is this a model 7-30? If so then it is mahogany. LFTD only mentions one finish for this model.
