Listening Tubes

Post by Shawn »

Folks, I just saw that Charley Hummel has listed a complete set of his new listening tubes on EBAY. I purchased a set from him at the Wayne show and I am 110% pleased. He did a phenomenal job replicating the ear tube set, right down to the hand-made red rubber tubing. If you have an early Edison or Columbia cylinder machine, this is an absolute must purchase at an exceedingly fair price. its a no brainer to get at least one.

Hello,
Where would you get the part that goes on the end and slips over the reproducer throat??

Don Gfell makes ends that fit on the reproducer. He makes ones for one, three or five sets of listening tubes. They are 20,35, and 45.00 plus shipping. he can be reached at [email protected]

Jean Paul Agnard also sells reproduction listening tubes and he also offers the little connector for the reproducer for $5 more. http://www3.sympatico.ca/jean-paul.agna ... age109.htm
Not shure if Ron Sitko has those as well?
I like the red rubber tubes better than the white...

Does anybody know when the red tubes were used, and what year they changed to white rubber? Why was there a change?

Got mine yesterday and they are great... red rubber is more flexible and it is made exactly like old red rubber tubing.
