I have not been very active on the forum lately, but with good reason. After a 31 year career with a single company, I decided to move closer to my kids so I could enjoy seeing my grandson grow up. I was extremely fortunate that a great opportunity opened up for me in OKC, right where I wanted to move. Moving is a really busy activity, more so than I would have thought. I didn't want to entrust the collection to movers used to just moving household goods so did it myself- of course with help from some good friends. The housing mkt in OKC is pretty active, but the house I got really had a room that looked perfect.. Take a look.
Steve
Oh yea, I also did a 10 hr round trip to pick up my latest phonograph, er, grafonola, a Columbia Regent in oak. It needs some work but shouldn't be too tough to get right.
Anyway, just thought I'd get back in touch now that things are slowing down a bit.Movin' on Up

Hi Steve,
What a great looking Phono room!!! and lots of space for more machines. I love those tall built in shelves. How tall is the ceiling?

Great collection very nicely displayed. I also like the Regent, looks like it's in great condition.
Thanks

That is a much nicer than average variation of the Regent - it looks massive and handsome instead of just bulky.

Very nice Steve, and to be close to family as well.

Very nicely displayed and wonderful collection. OKC must be code for Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. All the best from ORA. Jerry Blais

Steve,
Are both large machines in the first photo 10-50's?
The collection looks great!
Love the Kalamazoo Duplex and the 20th Century in the first photo.

A room full of machines is nice, but did you leave space for the La-Z-Boy and your favorite beverage? You can't sit there listening to music completely surrounded by no beer!
