Phonovox Reproducer question
I have a phonovox reproducer with stand alone tone arm. I know that it was used to play records through a radio speaker. Can it be used through a receiver like a turntable is hooked up? I was thinking that the two plug in pins could be attached to rca jacks and than to the receiver. Is this a possibility? I saw a video of one used through a computer speaker. Any ideas?

Re: Phonovox Reproducer question
The Phonovox is a high output balanced armature magnetic pick-up. It's output is too high for an ordinary magnetic pickup input on a modern amplifier. One of these will work well with the "Aux." input. Remember that the pickup must be properly rebuilt, with fresh, soft rubber dampers and a strong magnet if you hope for good results.
