I'm refinishing/repairing an XVIII, and need the lower key escutcheon, for the lower door lock.
I have 2 upper escutcheons, for the lid lock. Those are double bent- they curve up and down, and right to left, to fit the molding.
But the lower, which I am missing, is single bent, curving only right to left and not up and down.
I'll buy one if you have one to sell, or trade one of my uppers for a lower.
The two uppers I have probably came from a XVII, and may not be exactly what was used on an XVIII, but are close.
Anyone got one of those lower escutcheons?
Thanks

Not that it make your search much easier but the escutcheons are the same for the XVIII and XVII. Jerry

Thanks Jerry. I had heard that the escutcheons for the XVIII may have been a little larger than for the XVII, but when I received the two upper escutcheons from a XVII and put them up to my XVIII, the screw holes matched and the dent patterns in the wood matched, which supports that they were the same.

I have a friend with a crank escutcheon for a XVIII or XVII that he will sell postage paid for $50. That doesn't help you unless you find someone that's interested in a trade only transaction. Jerry
