New Comfort Talking Machine...HELP!!

Post by phono-novice »

We are hoping someone can help. We bought a New Comfort Talking Machine at a Non-profit fund raiser. It came with loads of records and needles, but alas, no manual. We are truly novices and need help. We have done nothing but bring it home and admire the cabinetry! Not sure how to proceed. I had one in my childhood (inherited from Grandma) but I have no recollection as to the proper usage!
Checked the Internet and found this site. Hopefully someone can help.
Any assistance or advice would be so very much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

An internet web site named "interique.com" has a section of beginners guides on gramophones...this is an excellent place to find information for the novice and the expert

That website is "Intertique." Go to "Beginner Guides."
