To me it looks like a crude homemade job with cobbled-together parts, some rather modern-looking.
It's generated a lot of bids, though.

This looks like a high school shop project.
Unless I'm missing something, (and I often am), I can't believe someone paid $360 for that thing.

My guess is that one or more parts are from some original machine and it was purchased for the parts. The reproducer could be that part.
