Here's a nice oak record cabinet, the sort that mimics the outline of a Victrola. The exterior was stripped in the 1970's & given a dead finish. The knobs are oxidized copper. There is one shelf on the inside to hold 10 and 12 inch albums. No key but it takes a standard cabinet key of the era. As you see a VV VI fits on top but a VV VIII would be perfect.
Asking $125.00

I'll include a key with this - your albums will be secure from tampering.

Re: Record cabinet - can bring to Wayne
Collectors are a funny bunch (me included). This cabinet is a great value. If this was discovered in an antique shop, most collectors would whip out the check book and buy it. When one collector offers it to other collectors, we walk around, kick the tires, and wonder why it's not already sold. I'm no different. I'll see things at Union and pass but if I'd seen the same item on the road, I'd buy it. Imagine how nice a Victrola IIIIIIII
would look on it. Happy collecting, Jerry

Just wanted to post a couple pictures of the cabinet after the "dead finish" has been removed and the cabinet refinished with shellac. I still not to get better (and probably darker) with my grain filling though...

Nice cabinet! You finished it well respecting it's age and beauty.
Sorry I did not see your post earlier as I would have, should have, been bidding on it.
Best of luck
