I like the pictures of all the open cars. Reminds me of how the Union shows used to be before that became prohibited. :(

As one who was at work all weekend (as usual) and could not attend, my heart-felt thanks to all of you that take the time and trouble to snap these great pics and post them on here. If we can't be there in person, at least we can see what we've missed.

My show experience so far has been limited to Orlando. How do Wayne and Orlando compare in terms of size?

That Amberola 1a sale makes me drool.

Two RARE birds at the show, a Vitaphone ($4200) and mahogany Victor V ($6500). Great deals if you had the cash! Much rarer than the Operas I saw for the same 6k.

The mahogany 5 was $6500 with record cabinet. I wonder what the serial number is on that machine??. It looks like 52705???. My mahogany 5 is number 58209 and with a 1918 date.

I was there from 9am until 11am and I was not so excited about this show compared to past Wayne shows. Two resons: Antique radios belong at antique radio shows, unless they are a radio/phono combination like an Edison R4. Too much space wasted on old tube radios by far. This is only my personal opinion as I also have a few vintage radios in my collection but they belong at their own show. #2: A FEW PEOPLE DID NOT EVEN KNOW THE PRICE OF ITEMS ON THEIR TABLE! No kidding. I asked one very nice lady about some German Edison cylinders. She said her husband was "floating around" and to stop back - which I did four times over the course of two hours! I did not buy them - NO PRICE! And I must admit something else - for the first time ever at Wayne there were a few rude people. Cranky and just not nice.
