Two resons: Antique radios belong at antique radio shows, unless they are a radio/phono combination like an Edison R4. Too much space wasted on old tube radios by far. This is only my personal opinion as I also have a few vintage radios in my collection but they belong at their own show. #2: A FEW PEOPLE DID NOT EVEN KNOW THE PRICE OF ITEMS ON THEIR TABLE! No kidding. I asked one very nice lady about some German Edison cylinders. She said her husband was "floating around" and to stop back - which I did four times over the course of two hours! I did not buy them - NO PRICE! And I must admit something else - for the first time ever at Wayne there were a few rude people. Cranky and just not nice.
I got there far too late, as usual, by around 12 or 12:30 sunday... had an hour, if that, before people started packing... by 2, it seemed almost half the show had gone. I know I need to get there earlier and that some people have a long drive, but if it's advertised as running until 3 p.m., there really shouldn't be several empty tables before that.
otherwise, I had no complaints... aside from noticing one dealer leaving around 2:30/3, walking out the front door carrying two smaller edison cylinder players (standards or firesides) BY THEIR CARRYING HANDLES... I watched waiting for at least one to snap.
but I do agree regarding the unposted prices and about the radios (there did seem to be a lot, and they probably outnumbered the floor model phonographs).
