Craigslist find. Silvertone in oak.

Post by Chilesave »

Found this phonograph on craigslist and bought it today. This is the only Silvertone I have ever had. It seems to be in excellent condition. Not many phonograph finds turn up in our area; but, at least I found this one.

At the end of this model's life, in the Autumn 1925 and Spring 1926 catalogs it was known as "The Valencia", a in 'As the song says, "In Valencia we found our paradise", and you will, too, a paradise of happiness and song, which will be brought into your home by this splendid phonograph." The price of this machine in 1925 was $36.50, F. O. B. Chicago, Milwalkee, Baltimore, Houston, or Seattle.
