Does anyone have an after market Unico Stand No. 50 for VV 50 Portable? I made one to go with my VV 50 and I would like to add a replica name plate. If you have one, can you please tell me the size of the nameplate (dimensions)so I can have one made. A high res photo would be helpful too if it's not to much trouble.
Thanks
Bill

Hi Bill. I do not have one but there are some pictures at the following link:

I would love to see a picture of the one you made. Is it oak or mahogany? Any chance you would make another? I have a real nice Oak Model 50.

Rich,
Thanks for the reply. I have seen the pictures on the old crank website. I will use that pic of the name plate if I don't obtain a higher resolution digital photo. Problem is, I dont know the size to make it?
The one I am making is mahogany and presently not assembled. I have all the pieces cut. I just need to drill a few screw holes and purchase the hardware to do the final assembly and finish. I probably wont have time to make another in the near future as I already have several other projects on my list, but I would be happy to send you the plans I used. I got them from another member a few years ago. Send me a message with your e-mail if you would like the plans.

Bill, that would be great. If I have the plans I can make it myself. Do you need an address from me or can you send to me as an attachment?

Bill, I would also be interested in building a stand for my VV-50. Could you please forward the plans to me as well? I would very much appreciate it. I send you my email in a PM.XCaptBill wrote:Rich,

Rich,
It is a word .doc file. I can email it to you. Send me a message with your e-mail. The plans include good photographs describing some of the details and a cut list for all the pieces. I do have pictures of the other member's assembled, unfinished stand. I can send those to you too.
Andreas, I will send them to you as well.
It's really a pretty simple piece and should not be difficult for most semi handy individuals to make.
