Columbia 'Eclipse' Cabinet (Only) in Mahogany

Post by CDBPDX »

I have just posted a Columbia 'Eclipse' model graphophone cabinet (only) for sale on eBay:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/121101177433

Item #121101177433

It is in pretty good condition, license sticker says not to be sold for less than $25.00.

Good luck! CDB

Hunting for the parts will make it more than what the machine is worth.

Someone might want to upgrade their Eclipse (or similar model) cabinet..??

Or switch from oak to mahogany?

Or make a dandy planter?

Pity that old Bob Adams has passed on! He'd take that cabinet, slap some beaded molding on it, throw a Grafonola motor into it, add an aluminum back-bracket, Victrola tone-arm, and cut-down cylinder horn, and run it throu the Seville Antique Barn auction. "Cave-it Empty-tar", as he always used to say!
