Brunswick two spring help...newbie

Post by derves33 »

I have a Brunswick two spring with springs in seperate barrels, how do you seperate the barrels and get to the springs? I have the assembly on the bench, tried vice and strap wrench attempting to twist them..right or wrong?? Shaft is removed gears are still attached bothsides.
Please help or advise if topic ic already covered.
I am dealing with a hybrid, not sure if the motor belongs in the Brunswick

I got it, I knew the index mark served a purpose, just didn't know which direction to align, trial and error prevails.
