Just bought a Victor scroll for the Ted Weems side, which as always is great. Flip side is Wayne King playing Stardust, I'm blown away! Can't stop playing this! I always thought his band was audio Prozac, what happened?

I have this one -- unfortunately someone liked the "Stardust" side way too much, as it's one of most worn dance band sides I own.

Oh, my bad. For a minute I thought you were talking about Wayne Newton. All I know about Newton is he had a big hit when I was 13 called "Danke Schone". But I just saw an old Jack Benny Program that featured Newton performing and boy he could really perform! No wonder he became big in Vegas!

Wayne Newton was a good performer when very young, not sure when the sandy hair and plumpness
was replaced by what we see today
