What do you think of this? Quite fancy, but I'm not sure if it's a period custom cabinet or completely new. Possibly it might have had another sort of phonograph in it - the board surrounding the Amberola 30 mechanism doesn't match the case. The more I look at it the more I'm thinking this is new- that smeary finish seems to shout it.

Wondering if it might be one of those after-market cabinets made by various firms back in the day to set table model phonographs into to make them look like floor models?

I like the cabinet, but not for $6,000.00!
There are better machines to be had for that kind of money.

An interesting cabinet, not worth that by any stretch, and the 30 was kind of low end if I remember.
