I am in a tough position at the moment and have been forced to let go of a few things in my collection. It's a tough decision but I have decided to offer for sale my Model A Home discussed here, http://forum.talkingmachine.info/viewto ... 3&start=10. I wasn't planning on ever selling it but am in a position at the moment where I may need to let it go. I refuse to put it on eBay though and will only be selling it if anyone here is interested. I wasn't sure what price to ask, but will say that I'm not trying to get top dollar. Just want it to go to a good home and would be happy with a fair price for the buyer and myself. I'm open to any offer and can deliver it to Union if preferred.
Now for the machine's details. The case is clean with no cracks or major blemishes. The decal is about 95% intact. The bedplate/top works are clean, especially the nickel hardware/brass mandrel. I overhauled the motor when I bought it. It runs strong and is fairly quiet. The machine has it's original Automatic Reproducer that is very clean almost appearing new. I found an Automatic Recorder in very similar condition that will be included as well and has it's original wooden shipping box with cotton batting. Both the reproducer and recorder will need rebuilt as I was planning on sending them to Steve Medved but haven't done so yet. The shaver works very well. The horn is a 42" brass horn that I recently had restored. I wanted it to match the cleanliness and patina of the machine so I had the dents removed and had it polished. The crane appears to have had the bottom portion repainted at some point but looks great and functions perfectly. Overall, this is a great Home that I will hate to part with but need to do so at this point.
I would be happy to go over any other details via a PM or over the phone if preferred. Please let me know if anyone is interested and again, I'm just looking to get a price that is fair for the buyer and myself.

Re: For Sale - Brass Mandrel Home
Hi Jeff. Nice machine. What is the serial number of it? You also say it runs strong, but it appears to be missing the belt. What type of crank does it have as it's not in the picture? I might be interested in both this one and the other one you have on eBay. You can either pm, email, or text me with the prices. Will not be home today.
