Exhibition Reproducer with Volume Control - $150 - SOLD!!!

Post by Jerry B. »

I am selling an Exhibition reproducer that has an optional volume control. The reproducer is in good unrestored condition. Please email [email protected] or call 541-990-0781 with any interest. The first person to say "sold" is the buyer. I am happy to bring this to Union. Jerry Blais

Jerry, what can you tell us about the volume control? I've never seen one before. Is it a Victor product or an after-market item by somebody else? When was it produced? And, perhaps most important, does it work?

From the photos, it appears to mount between the back flange and the body of the sound box. What can't we see: some mechanism or other?

I doubt if it was a Victor product but I'm not sure. The lever operates a guillotine type affair that blocks the sound. The one photo shows it completely blocking the sound passage. The screws holding the flange need to be slightly longer. Jerry
