Re: WTB
Would you like an unsolicited recommendation? I would choose a Victor model, such as the Victor III. They are common enough to be relatively affordable and I believe are the best-made of that group and ideal as a first machine. As an old ad once said, "Ask the man that owns one".

Re: WTB
Thanks, now if I can just find one, and one that's not restored. It's been a 5 year hunt for the right machine, I'm getting impatient with this hunt. All I want is a good original machine, so I can sit and enjoy listening to some old 78s, while smoking a cigar and having a scotch, and take in the beauty of the machine, I'm not looking to own every machine that existed throughout history.

Ah sit back and have a good cigar and chatting with my buddy Johnny Walker - my evening ritual as well. Dutchman, since is was not VinTech that wrote that quote....you want to spend some time with my friend instead... Mr. John Daniels. Most call him Jack. However, I earned that right....dutchman wrote:Ah sit back and have a good cigar and chatting with my buddy Johnny Walker - my evening ritual as well.
