RARE WOOD TONE-ARM PHONOGRAPH

Some time ago there was a discussion about this machine:

"A very rare and unusual German phonograph. This is unmarked as to maker, and the collector in Europe who owned it for many years told me that it was a Klingsor prototype that never made it into production. Indeed, it bears several Klingsor elements (side panel carvings, motor mechanism, reproducer).

The most unusual aspect of this, of course, is the wood tone arm and rear bracket. Also unique is the horn, constructed of very thin smooth veneers, with a pronounced flare."

Well cross out the "Klingsor prototype that never made it into production". My 10c worth is that the case may be original but the rear wood bracket, tone arm & horns are of very modern manufacture.

Howecer it does have the word "prototype" written inside on a strip of paper, so I'm probably wrong....

Has a few genuine parts in it. I'll admit that it's rather pretty.
