Shipping a Phonograph

Post by PHONOMIKE »

I was just wondering if anyone had shipped a phonograph case and horn. What is the best packing methods to be sure the machine arrives safely at its designation?

Since you are in Canada, this will involve a border.....it's risky!!. It also depends on the size/weight and stability of the machine. More importantly the competence of the shipper. Trade-mark's & Gem's are a good shipping size. Regardless of machine....you will want the motor, etc.. removed and shipped in a separate box. There are also several threads regarding "packing & shipping" on the forum. Just do a search.
Hope this helps... ;).
