Sonora Electric Motor

Post by papafred »

Hi, Just purchased a Sonora Louis XV De Luxe phonograph. It is missing the motor, motor board and tonearm. Looks like it had an electic motor. Does anybody have any information on this model? Cabinet is in excellent condition. Thanks, Papa Fred

The parts you need were supplied to Sonora by Paillard of Switzerland.
Below is a picture of these parts in another model, but the same parts were used in all the early Sonora electric models.
I don't have a picture of the turntable motor unfortunately, but if you need more pictures of the tonearm & pick-up, let me know & I can post pictures of mine.
