Need help with 2&4 Home and Triumph
I have an early suitcase Home with 2&4 minute gearing. I can get it to play two minute cylinders but not four minute cylinders. There doesn't seem to be enough room to shift gears. Is there a good step by step method to install the conversion? I don't think the problem is with incorrect conversion parts as this machine was dirty and appeared to have been together for years. Thanks, Jerry Blais

Have you tried adjusting the position of the casting on which the shift lever sits?

Hey Jerry, I agree, check the position of the shifting lever itself. I had this same problem with a Triumph model A and it cured it.

I'll give that a try. At the moment I'm punishing the Home and I set it aside to work on a Schwinn Tiger. Jerry
