For those familiar with Raisa, many of her sessions were "electric" per se, but I am referring to recording sessions from the late 20s or early 30s. Does anyone have any knowledge of when these sessions took place and what came from them. I am asking because I do have 2 orthophonic sides recorded by Rosa Raisa and was hitherto unaware of these recordings. I will post them if there is significant interest. Let me know.

Re: Rosa Raisa electric sessions?
These were discussed in a The Record Collector issue in the early naughts (i.e. ca. 2002). AFAIK without looking for it in my piles, they were recorded in Rome in about 1931. I have one of those in a circle label pressing. I'll try to dredge the issue up to give you more information.

According to the Marstonrecords.com website, there were four sides recorded by EMI in 1933. Marston had reissued the complete Raisa several years ago. Two of the sides, Vissi d'arte and La mamma morta were published on Victor in America, with the balance issued on IRCC.

Re: Rosa Raisa electric sessions?
She has nine extant electric sides for Brunswick, recorded in New York, 1927 / 29.
Four electric sides for Voce del Padrone, Milan, 1933. Two of those sides were issued on Victor.
That's it.
