I am wondering what fellow collectors would think would be a fair price to pay for a Brunswick model 127 phonograph with the japanese lacquer finish in very good condition.
I have located one that I am considering purchasing and want to make the seller a fair offer. I just don't know what would be fair for both of us for this type of machine.
I have a pretty good understanding of the value of Victors and Edisons; but, not really for Brunswicks with a special finish in today's market. Does anyone know what they have brought at auctions recently or sold for recently? Any ballpark ideas would be appreciated as a place to start.
Thanks!

Re: Help with knowing value of Brunswick 127 Japanese lacque
The Brunswick Japanese Model 127 was sold with in two different colors. The most common is the black Japanese lacquer, but they also came in Green color. I
have a green finish machine in my collection. Having seen many of the black finishes over the years, but only two of the green finish, I would have to assume that
the Green finish was not as popular. As far as price is concerned, over the past few years I have seen these machines sell at auctions and shows in the
$900 to $1100 range, depending on the condition of the finish. The finish on these always seem to alligator pretty bad.
