Considered one the rarest album covers, a special issue by Capitol Records in 1967 of the Beatles Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Band was discovered in Indiana and auctioned on 10 August for $32,500.
This particular album was a tribute by Capitol for the success of the album and features photos of the Capitol executives, rather that the artists. 40 of these were produced.

It's the same stock cover. And who were the executives tributing?
Only thing Capitol had to do with this album was pressing and distributing it in the U.S.
