ORIGINAL Victor VI Mahogany Spear Point Horn.. SOLD

PRICE LOWERED...I will attempt to offer this for only a few more days. We have had quite a bit of interest, and several folks who have given the idea that they want to purchase, yet nobody has confirmed with payment. We really do not have to sell this horn, we simply thought it would be a great opportunity for someone to put an original mahogany horn on their Vic VI, or to even use on a Vic IV.

Another item from my father's things. An original Victor VI mahogany horn. Gold collar states patent dates of Sept. 1904 and March 1905. Horn is in original condition. The inner aspect of the horn is a bit more shiney and dark than the outter side. My dad may have over-coated it at some point with shellac or finish, but I am not sure. He did do a small re-glue and used a little filler around the seam on the rim. The rim is tight, as is the rest of the horn. No cracks or splits. The decal has been rubbed completely off, yet you can see the shadow where it was. The collar sits a bit crooked. I have not attempted to move it, as I do not quite know how to go about it. All in all, a pretty good horn that is seldom found. I would not hesitate just applying the right type of polish and placing right on my Victor VI.
