Passing of Bill Floyd
Just FYI, I heard through the grapevine that Bill Floyd -- who went by 'Amberola I-A' and 'MaroonGem' on this and other phono boards has passed away. Bill once threatened to "knock me flat" when I expressed an opinion about glue that contradicted his own opinion. Vaya con dios, amigo.

He was a good guy. He sure would tell you what he thought. Bless his family.

I believe John's comment's were made with good intent and without malice. He simply indicated the passion Bill had for our hobby. Jerry Blais

R.I.P. Bill
I had always enjoyed his posts and conversations.
Bill was a big Edison machine lover like myself.
You'll be missed Bill.
Take care pal.

Re: Passing of Bill Floyd
Damn damn damn
Bill was always there to help me with a phonograph question and we shared an interest in World War II Japanese militaria. He was always friendly to chat with on the phone and share his phonograph collection with me. This is the second friend in my collection hobbies who has died in the past year.
