the back bracket is typical of crapophones... it looks better than average but I still wouldn't have one at home.

Machines I own: Edison Standard A, suitcase Home, Home A, Triumph A & B, Columbia type BS, Standard Model A, Victor E, IV & V, Pathéphone No.4

The back bracket sure looks fake to me.

Sand casting, possibly from an original but crude. As a whole I will admit the machine is a bit more convincing than most. If that is hand painting on the horn it looks decent.

Trust me its hand painted. I have spent time in both India and Pakistan (going back in Feb.) and they have some great artists there. The fact is labor is cheap-even for those that are talented. It takes 3-4 years to build a house and the labor quality can run from excellent to very poor but the timing and costs are pretty close.
No one there really understands about decals, if I could figure out how to get my horns there I would take them and might do so on another trip. Yes I know that that use a poor decal for the machine logo but they think that that is what we want that decal. But for the horn they know that is hand painted and that is what we expect so that's what they give us.
