Early VV-XIV for sale. Overall OK but has a few issues. It could be restored, but I have no room or desire to do so. Currently stored in Maryland near Washington DC. It's yours for $125.00 if you want to pick it up.The motor is working.
The problems:
All knobs missing, except the one on the drawer.
Reproducer is nickel not gold.
Speaker door missing a chunk where the hinge attaches.
Record drawer cracked and separated (all parts present).
A couple of drink rings on the lid.
The bullet brake was replaced by a later upgrade to the automatic shutoff style.
I don't know if it had a rack for albums, but if so it is missing.
It's not the picture, the taper tube plating is worn down to the copper for much of the surface.

Re: Early VV-XIV for restoration / sale
That's certainly a pretty reasonable price for what you have! Early XIVs are neat machines. I really love mine. These did originally have record racks, just FYI.
Good luck!

Had a request to part this out but figured I'd bump it to the top to give it one last try.

I'm pretty much stuck on the east coast. Besides, if I made it to Union I probably wouldn't have enough money left over to get home.
