Looks like a perfect match.
Wherever did you find it?

Nice! I've only seen these in pictures- would like one or would like to build a copy.

Re: VV-50 stand
I know of another member here who has one of these. I wonder how well they sold? I would expect well, they were advertised extensively in the Talking Machine World, but I've only seen these two. I'm pretty sure other companies made similar stands, too, I could swear I saw other ads from companies other than Unico for these.

Re: VV-50 stand
I have a partial "Ogden Knock Down Cabinet" stand for a VV-50, unfortunately I don't knwo what the whole stand is supposed to look like. Does anyone have any pictures of a complete one?
There was a discussion earlier about a Unico stand here http://forum.talkingmachine.info/viewto ... ico#p73207

That's interesting, I didn't realize the name plate was on the bottom shelf. I thought it was on the rear top cross support. And that one seems black on a gray background? Other pictures I have seen appear to be black on gold?
Can you please measure the name plate for me?

Re: VV-50 stand
I see, so I guess the nameplate was not attached and the owner could presumably put the name plate wherever he chose when assembling?
Thanks for the dims

Re: VV-50 stand
I've been talking with another forum memeber about the Tag location. We sumise that this was probably purchased unassembled with the tag already affixed to one of the slats and then assembled by the consumer after purchase? The slat with the Tag could end up in whichever location the consumer placed that slat during assembly? The reason for the interest here is I have one of these started (replica's) and so does the other forum member. Little details like this are being discussed during the construction process. I have mine cut and I'm waiting for the weather to change to our less humid conditions here in FL before I assemble and finish it.
