Hi Steve;Yes, that is a front mount Aretino next to the Busy Bee. It is not the one with the traveling turntable, if memory serves me correctly, you have one of the scarcer models with the traveling turntable.Andersun wrote:Bill,
Much has changed since I saw your great stuff back in the early 90's. Is that an Aretino front mount to the left the Busy Bee?

Gene; Here are some pics that you wanted of the Belknap Circus wagon and The Edison Amberola 1A. The Amberola 1A is original finish with the gun metal bedplate. The Belknap circus wagon is a fairly scarce children's toy that had a small phonograph inside it. You wind the motor from the front, and not only does it play the 5" record, but there is a gear that can be engaged to propel the wagon across the floor as the record plays. There is a picture of one of these in George Paul's book with a short blurb about it.gemering wrote:Bill,

What an awesome collection!!!
I see so many items (big and small) that I love.
For starters;
Can you take some close-ups and tell me about your Victor Circus Wagon and oak Amberola I?
Thanks,
Gene

Both interesting items. Have never seen one of the wagons before and a 1A is at the head of my "one of these days when the budget permits" acquisition list.

Thanks to these guys and gals for showing their collections. I think some of the younger collectors don't realize that most of these wonderful collections have been acquired over a lifetime. Not only beautiful, original machines, but rare and unique machines. Not a bunch of Homes and Standards, Victor XVI's and common machines. These weren't cheap 50 years ago, but unobtainable now. Thanks and keep them coming.
